Getting Started with domail: First Campaign
Welcome! In the previous article, we discussed how to use domail as an SMTP relay and sent some initial emails. Today, we'll show you how to utilize domail to create email campaigns.

1. Creating Template
First, let's log in to the domail. In the first step, we need to create a template. We'll find the template configuration menu and create a new template, giving it a suitable name and saving it. The created template contains several tabs, including "Template data," where we set the main source of the provided template. We define the structure of the source data, with three options available: Key-Value Pair, CSV, or JSON. Key-Value Pair is suitable for testing purposes. Next, in the template, we specify the main source and add parameters, such as email and name. We'll use these parameters when filling in email parameters like "send to" and "subject".
In the template design, we create the visual appearance of the email and can use parameters for this. In future articles, we'll explore more options for creating interesting templates for campaigns and how to use JSON or CSV source data. For now, we've shown the basic setup.

2. Creating Scenario
We've created a template, so now let's create a scenario with the template. The scenario name can be anything, and we'll also select the default script and the template. Save scenario, and enable it. Now we can proceed to creating the campaign itself.

3. Creating Campaign
Let's create a campaign, give it a name, add the scenario we've created, and save it. Next, in the campaign, we can set a schedule, choose the date of execution, or start it directly with the start button. Another step is to set the source data, which are the data we want to use in the emails. We can manually define them within the Key-Value Pair option, but for larger quantities of emails, it's more appropriate to use CSV or JSON structure. After launching the campaign, we can monitor its progress and then check the communications screen, where we see created records.
This is the basic use of templates in domail. We will discuss many advanced features, such as tables, images, attachments, and template design, in the next articles.
