Getting Started with domail: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Submit for Download
Head over to our website domail.io and locate the download section. You can submit your request for a trial version right there on the homepage. Simply fill out the required information, and you're on your way.

2. Download the Installation File
Once you've submitted your request, keep an eye on your inbox. You'll receive an email from us with a link to download the installation file. Click on the provided link to download the tar file to your computer.

3. Extract and Run the Virtual Machine
After downloading the installation file and extracting it to your desired location, follow the instructions provided by the official documentation for each specific distribution on how to run the virtual machine:
- QEMU distribution: Refer to QEMU official documentation for instructions.
- VirtualBox distribution: Refer to VirtualBox official documentation for instructions.
- VMware distribution: Refer to VMware official documentation for instructions.

4. Log in as Root
After successfully running the virtual machine, log in as the root user using the default credentials provided. The default username is 'root', and the password is 'rootroot'.

5. Make Initial Configuration
After logging in as the root user, issue the command 'configure' to start the configuration prompt. Follow the prompts and instructions provided by the configuration script. This will include setting up the SMTP server connection, specifying the email address for returning emails, configuring the email address for error notifications, and providing basic authentication for REST and SOAP services. You'll be prompted to provide a username and password, which will be used in the REST and SOAP communication channels. Once you've answered all the prompts, the script will set up domail and start all domail services. Please be patient and wait a few minutes while the services start up.

6. Access domail UI
After completing the initial configuration, find out the IP address of the virtual machine by issuing the 'ifconfig' command in the terminal. Once you have the IP address, enter it into the address bar of your web browser to access the domail UI. Log in using the default user 'admin', and the password is 'adminadmin'.
